Dreams Reoccuring

Busted this CD out of the case yesterday, and I love it just as much as I did the day I purchased it. Husker Du is known as one of the most important indie rock bands of the 80's and Zen Arcade is a testament to the trio's song writing capabilities. It is a concept album about a runaway youth. Not only is it interesting lyrically but also musically, as it is so diverse. At the time they were one of the most experimental punk/hardcore bands of the time, and it payed off well. This is my favorite album because it's the perfect balance of their earlier hardcore sound, and their later indie rock / proto grunge sound. Good shit. check it out.
